IDIED YAZILIM A.Ş. ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information about users of the iDied app ("iDied"). By using iDied, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Your name, email address, phone number, and other registration details
• Content Information: The will and final messages (video or written) you upload, including recipient email addresses and phone numbers
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique identifiers

2. How We Use Your Information

• Operate and improve the iDied app
• Provide support and communicate with you
• Send messages to selected recipients based on your preferences
• Comply with relevant data and messaging regulations
• Prevent unauthorized access and maintain account security

If you are on a Premium plan, more wills and final messages can be stored. When the subscription ends, excess content will be deleted within 30 days.

3. SMS and Email Notifications

• SMS Notifications: Sent based on your preferences. Authentication SMS cannot be disabled. To stop SMS, reply "STOP." To resume, reply "START" to +16503539529.
• Email Notifications: May include updates or important information. Click the unsubscribe link in the footer of any email to opt out.

4. Sharing Your Information

• With Your Consent: When you explicitly request or authorize it
• Legal Requirements: When required to comply with applicable laws
• Service Providers: With partners who provide services on our behalf (e.g., SMS and email delivery), under confidentiality obligations

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data. However, no digital storage or transmission system is entirely secure. Please use caution when sharing sensitive information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations. You may delete your account and all data at any time through the “Delete Account” feature in the app.

We reserve the right to delete stored content at our discretion—for technical, legal, or policy reasons—even without a deletion request. Deleted content cannot be recovered.

7. International Data Storage

All user data—including personal information, will and final message content, email addresses, and phone numbers—is stored on secure cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud, which may be located outside of your country.

These systems are used to ensure reliable service delivery and availability.

8. Your Rights

• Access Your Data: Review the information we hold about you
• Update Information: Modify your account details within the app
• Delete Your Account: Permanently remove your account and all related content using the in-app “Delete Account” feature

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you via email or within the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Turkey. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul.
