By downloading, installing, or using the iDied app ("iDied"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not accept any part of these Terms, you should not use the app.
To access certain features of iDied, you must create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep this information up to date. You agree to keep your account details confidential and are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
iDied is a software for sharing written and video testaments and can be used in two ways:
Free, includes ads, and offers limited features. You can save 1 video testament (up to 5 minutes in length), 1 written testament note, and 1 email recipient to the iDied database. If you do not log into the app on the specified day, your video and written testaments will automatically be sent to the email address you provided.
Available through in-app purchase as monthly or yearly subscriptions, ad-free. It allows you to save up to 10 video testaments, 1000 written testament notes, 15 email addresses, and 10 phone numbers in the iDied database. You may share these testaments with all iDied members without entering email or phone information. If you do not log into the app on the specified day, your video and written testaments will automatically be sent to the email addresses and phone numbers you provided.
However, in compliance with A2P and GDPR regulations, for testament information to be sent via SMS, if the recipient is not a member, they must opt in by completing the form on the iDied website's SMS notifications page or by sending the word START via SMS to +16503539529. If the recipient is a member, they can manage their SMS notifications directly within the app by enabling SMS notifications in the 'Notifications' section. Without this opt-in, SMS delivery will not occur. Authentication-related SMS messages cannot be opted out of.
If no email or phone number is specified, and you have selected the option to share with everyone on the sharing page, your testaments will be shared with all iDied members. Each video testament can be up to 15 minutes long.
If the Premium plan is not active but your account is active, the additional video testaments, written notes, and email addresses provided by the Premium plan will be deleted 30 days after the subscription ends, except for 1 video testament, 1 written note, and 1 email address. If your account is not active, your content will be stored for 3 months before being deleted.
SMS Notifications
Notifications sent via SMS include testament notifications, campaigns, and general information updates shared with the user. SMS messages related to phone number verification are supported in all countries. If you do not receive a verification SMS, iDied does not assume responsibility.
SMS delivery for testament notifications, campaigns, and general information updates is only supported in the countries listed below. We are not responsible for failed SMS delivery due to the recipient's phone being turned off, incorrect phone numbers, issues caused by the SMS provider, or restrictions imposed by the recipient's country's laws.

By becoming a member of iDied, you agree to receive SMS and email notifications by default. SMS notifications may include any type of information updates or notifications from the iDied application. If you wish to disable SMS notifications, you can do so through the settings menu found under the "Notifications" section in the app.
If you have opted out of SMS notifications by sending a STOP message via SMS, and would like to opt-in again, you can only do so by sending the word START via SMS to +16503539529.
Authentication-related SMS messages cannot be opted out of.
Email notifications may include various updates and information from the iDied app. You can disable email notifications by navigating to the "Notifications" section in the app settings. Additionally, email notifications can be unsubscribed from by clicking the "unsubscribe" link provided in the footer of the emails.
Users may update the phone number associated with their iDied account up to twice per month. This limit is implemented to support security requirements and app usage conditions. If the monthly limit is exceeded, further changes must wait until the following month.
The Will Generator is a feature designed to help users easily create a written will in the form of a downloadable PDF document. It simplifies the process of drafting a testament by allowing users to input their wishes and export them in a clear, organized format.
Please note that using the Will Generator does not automatically make the will legally binding. To ensure legal validity, users must comply with the requirements of their respective country’s laws — such as having the will signed in the presence of a notary public, witnesses, or any other legally required parties.
iDied only provides a formatted document; it is the user’s responsibility to finalize and authenticate the will in accordance with their jurisdiction's legal procedures.
You agree not to share content that:
You retain ownership of the content you upload. However, by uploading content, you grant IDIED YAZILIM A.Ş. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your content for operating the iDied services.
You agree to use the app responsibly and not engage in prohibited behaviors such as:

We reserve the right to terminate your account if you violate the Terms or engage in behavior that could damage the company’s reputation.
Accounts created on iDied that have not generated any video, note, or testament will be subject to automatic deletion within a month of the registration date.
This policy is implemented to ensure efficient use of system resources and to maintain platform security.
IDIED YAZILIM A.Ş. is not responsible for data loss, loss of profits, or service interruptions resulting from the use of iDied. The app is provided "as is" without any warranties.
Purchases for the Premium Plan and other paid features are final and non-refundable.
You have the right to uninstall the app from your device. Additionally, you can delete all your content using the "Delete Account" feature. Once deleted, your content will be permanently removed from our systems.
We may modify these Terms at any time. By continuing to use the app after changes are posted, you agree to the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey/Istanbul, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Turkey/Istanbul.
